युवा सशक्तीकरणले समृद्ध समाज निर्माण हुन्छ : प्रदेश प्रमुख मियाँ

कैलाली । सुदूरपश्चिम प्रदेश प्रमुख नजिर मियाँले समाज र राष्ट्रको विकास तथा समृद्धिका लागि सशक्त युवा पङ्क्ति आवश्यक रहेको बताएका छन् ।

नेपाल स्काउटले आयोजना गरेको ‘फिनल्याण्ड–नेपाल पार्टनरशिप प्रोजेक्ट’ अन्तर्गतको ‘स्काउट्स पिस एन्ड सेक्युरिटी’ कार्यक्रममा मङ्गलवार धनगढीमा बोल्दै उनले पछिल्लो समय युवाहरू कुलततर्फ आकर्षित भइरहेको उल्लेख गर्दै त्यसबाट जोगाई समुन्नत समाज निर्माणमा परिचालन गर्नुपर्ने आवश्यकता औँल्याएका थिए ।

प्रदेश प्रमुख मियाँले युवामाझ शान्ति, सुरक्षा, नेतृत्व विकास तथा सामाजिक उत्तरदायित्वका विषयमा व्यापक छलफल आवश्यक रहेको बताउँदै यस्ता कार्यक्रमले युवामा सकारात्मक सोच र नेतृत्व क्षमता विकास गर्न सहयोग पुग्ने विश्वास व्यक्त गरेका थिए ।

कार्यक्रममा सुदूरपश्चिम प्रदेश सभा सामाजिक विकास समिति सभापति धर्मराज पाठकले युवा सशक्तीकरणमार्फत सबैलाई अगाडि बढाउन सके युवा मैत्री विकासको आधार बलियो हुने बताए ।

नेपाल स्काउट सुदूरपश्चिम प्रदेश आयुक्त नरेन्द्र थापाले स्काउट अभियानमार्फत समुदायमा सकारात्मक सन्देश प्रवाह गर्ने, युवालाई अनुशासित, जिम्मेवार र सामाजिक उत्तरदायी नागरिकका रूपमा विकास गर्ने उद्देश्यले कार्यक्रम सञ्चालन गरिएको जानकारी दिएका थिए ।

कार्यक्रममा प्रदेश प्रहरी प्रमुख ओम बहादुर राना , सञ्चारकर्मी,विभिन्न जिल्लाका स्काउट प्रतिनिधि, युवा तथा सरोकारवालाको सहभागिता रहेको थियो ।

Kailali. Far Western Province Chief Nazir Miya has said that a strong youth is necessary for the development and prosperity of society and the nation.

Speaking at the 'Scouts Peace and Security' program organized by Nepal Scouts under the 'Finland-Nepal Partnership Project' in Dhangadhi on Tuesday, he mentioned that the youth have been attracted towards addictions in recent times and pointed out the need to protect them from it and mobilize them to build a prosperous society.

Provincial Chief Miya said that there is a need for extensive discussions among the youth on issues of peace, security, leadership development, and social responsibility, and expressed confidence that such programs would help develop positive thinking and leadership skills among the youth.

Speaking at the program, Sudurpaschim Provincial Assembly Social Development Committee Chairman Dharmaraj Pathak said that if everyone can be moved forward through youth empowerment, the foundation for youth-friendly development will be strengthened.

Nepal Scout Sudurpaschim Province Commissioner Narendra Thapa informed that the program was launched with the aim of spreading a positive message to the community through the Scout campaign and developing the youth as disciplined, responsible and socially responsible citizens.

The program was attended by Provincial Police Chief Om Bahadur Rana, media personnel, scout representatives from various districts, youth, and stakeholders.
