Haleshi Tuwachung Municipality Constructs Earthquake-Resistant Homes for Indigent Families

Khoteang. Haleshi Tuwachung Municipality has constructed and handed over new earthquake-resistant houses with tin roofs for indigent families who were homeless. The municipality has constructed and handed over an earthquake-resistant two-room house to the family of Tek Bahadur Sarki in Nagi, Ward No. 10 Arkhaule, whose daily meals were also difficult to manage.

Mayor Vimla Rai informed that earthquake-resistant houses have been handed over to three indigent families under the Safe Citizen Housing Program. "Earthquake-resistant houses have been constructed for three indigent families. Houses have also been constructed for Bhaya Damai of Mangaltar and Deshbir Rai of Dikuwa, who were living in dilapidated houses," she said, "We are preparing to formally hand over the remaining two families soon. Safe housing will be ensured for all families who have been living in the support of others due to the lack of their own houses."
