Newly Constructed Bridge Collapses in Bihar 10 Days After Inauguration

New Delhi. A newly constructed bridge has collapsed in Bihar. The strange thing is that this bridge was inaugurated only 10 days ago.

The upper surface part of the bridge has sunk by about one foot. After this incident, serious questions are being raised about the quality of construction. This railway overbridge was built at a cost of approximately 26 crore 40 lakh rupees. The total length of the bridge is said to be about 950 meters. It was constructed to reduce long traffic jams at this railway crossing and to ensure smooth traffic flow in the city and surrounding areas.
