Koshi Province Chief Minister Highlights Police Role in Governance

Biratnagar. Koshi Province Chief Minister Hikmat Kumar Karki has stated that the police organization is the first government of the Nepali people. Inaugurating the Koshi Province-level 'Crime Investigation Review' seminar organized here today by the Nepal Police Headquarters Crime Investigation Department and Koshi Province Police Office, he expressed the view that the organization should be responsible for the questions and queries raised about the police organization.

Chief Minister Karki expressed the view that the idea and tendency to control the police organization at a time when it should be strengthened will have a serious impact on crime investigation, and the state should fulfill the shortcomings in resources and management to make the organization timely.
