Kathmandu Metropolitan City Unveils Policy and Program for Fiscal Year 2083/84

Kathmandu. Kathmandu Metropolitan City has unveiled its policy and program for the fiscal year 2083/84. Acting Mayor Sunita Dangol unveiled the policy and program during the first meeting of the 19th session of the Municipal Assembly. Good governance and administrative management have been prioritized in the policy and program.

"The office's website, official multimedia channels, and digital platforms will be used to disseminate office information and publicize activities, and the allocation of resources will be made more economical, transparent, and results-oriented," it is stated in the policy and program. "The one-door service center, which is being operated in the Metropolitan City and all ward offices, will be operated by enhancing the work efficiency of the employees," it is stated in the policy and program. "Students studying in various universities will be provided with internship, fellowship, and 'part-time engagement' programs in accordance with the 'earn while you learn' concept for the work to be performed by Kathmandu Metropolitan City."
