सुदूरपश्चिममा ६० करोड बढी बेरुजु, ५ करोड बढी असुल गर्नुपर्ने

कैलाली । सुदूरपश्चिम प्रदेशका विभिन्न निकाय तथा कार्यालयहरूको गत वर्ष ६० करोड बढी बेरुजु देखिएको छ । सुदूरपश्चिम प्रदेश प्रमुख नजिर मियाँलाई पेश गरिएको गत आर्थिक वर्षको महालेखा परीक्षकको प्रतिवेदनमा ६० करोड ४८ लाख ८९ हजार बेरुजु रहेको उल्लेख गरिएको छ ।

आर्थिक वर्ष २०८१/०८२ मा प्रदेशका १५९ कार्यालयको लेखा परीक्षण गर्दा ५ करोड ४९ लाख ३३ हजार असुलउपर गर्नुपर्ने बेरुजु देखिएको छ । त्यस्तै, ५० करोड ९ लाख ६७ हजार नियमित गर्नुपर्ने र ४ करोड ८९ लाख ८९ हजार पेस्की बाँकी रहेको प्रतिवेदनमा उल्लेख गरिएको छ ।

भौतिक पूर्वाधार विकास मन्त्रालयको सबैभन्दा धेरै बेरुजु हुँदा आर्थिक मामिला मन्त्रालय तथा लोक सेवा आयोगको बेरुजु देखिएको छैन ।

भौतिकमा मात्रै २७ करोड ६६ लाख ३१ हजार बेरुजु देखिएको छ । त्यस्तै, सामाजिक विकास मन्त्रालयको २२ करोड १६ लाख १८ हजार, उद्योग, पर्यटन, वन तथा वातावरण मन्त्रालयको ४ करोड ६१ लाख ४२ हजार बेरुजु देखिएको छ ।

महालेखापरीक्षक कार्यालयका नायब महालेखापरीक्षक थवराज अधिकारीले प्रदेश प्रमुख मियाँलाई आठौँ वार्षिक प्रतिवेदनबारे जानकारी गराएका थिए । उनले सुदूरपश्चिम प्रदेशमा ३९ अर्ब ४९ करोड ९१ लाख ५५ हजारको लेखा परीक्षण गर्दा १.५३ प्रतिशत बेरुजु देखिएको जानकारी दिएका थिए ।

प्रदेशका ३ अर्ब ५४ करोड ८५ लाख ६८ हजार बेरुजु बाँकी रहेको उनले बताएका थिए ।

प्रतिवेदन बुझ्दै प्रदेश प्रमुख मियाँले महालेखा परीक्षकको कार्यालयले आर्थिक अनुशासन कायम गर्न उत्प्रेरित गर्नुका साथै आर्थिक पारदर्शिता र मितव्ययिताका लागि विशेष योगदान दिएको बताएका थिए ।

प्रतिवेदनमा देखिएका समस्याहरू समाधान गर्न मुख्यमन्त्री तथा मन्त्रिपरिषद्को कार्यालयमार्फत प्रदेश सभामा छलफलको व्यवस्था मिलाइने समेत उनले बताए ।

Kailali. Various bodies and offices of the Sudurpaschim Province have seen irregularities worth more than Rs 600 million last year. The Auditor General's report for the last fiscal year submitted to Sudurpaschim Province Chief Nazir Mian has mentioned irregularities of Rs 604.889 crore.

During the audit of 159 offices in the province in the fiscal year 2081/082, it was found that 54.933 crores were undeservedly recovered. Similarly, the report mentioned that 50.967 crores were to be regularized and 48.989 crores were pending.

While the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure Development has the highest number of rejections, the Ministry of Economic Affairs and the Public Service Commission have not seen any rejections.

In the physical sector alone, there has been a deficit of 276.631 crore. Similarly, the Ministry of Social Development has 221.18 crore, and the Ministry of Industry, Tourism, Forest and Environment has 46.142 crore.

Deputy Auditor General of the Auditor General's Office, Thawaraj Adhikari, had briefed the Province Chief Miya about the eighth annual report. He had informed that 1.53 percent irregularities were found during the audit of Rs 39.49 billion in the Sudurpaschim Province.

He said that the province has 3.54 billion 8.568 billion rupees remaining.

While receiving the report, Provincial Chief Miya said that the Office of the Auditor General has encouraged the maintenance of financial discipline and has made a special contribution to financial transparency and thrift.

He also said that arrangements would be made for a discussion in the provincial assembly through the Office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers to resolve the problems seen in the report.
