Four Consecutive Public Holidays in Nepal from Jestha 14

Kathmandu. There are 4 consecutive public holidays from Jestha 14. The Ministry of Home Affairs issued a notice on Friday stating that a holiday has been decided on Jestha 14 on the occasion of Bakar Eid (Eid-ul-Adha).

Home Ministry spokesperson Anand Kafle issued a notice stating that according to the notice published in the Gazette, there is a provision for a public holiday on the occasion of Bakar Eid (Eid-ul-Adha) for followers of Islam, and since the festival falls on the 14th, a holiday has been decided.

A public holiday on Jestha 15 for Republic Day has already been published in the Gazette. Jestha 16 is a Saturday and Jestha 17 is a Sunday. Therefore, there are 4 consecutive holidays from Jestha 14 to 17.
