नयाँ गाडीको दर्ता प्रक्रिया रोकिएपछि अटो व्यवसायी आकस्मिक बैठक बस्दै

काठमाडौं । सरकारले नयाँ सवारी साधनको दर्ता प्रक्रिया रोक्का गरेपछि अटो व्यवसायीहरूले आकस्मिक बैठक बोलाएका छन् । अटो व्यवसायीहरूको छाता संस्था नाडा अटोमोबाइल्स एशोसिएन अफ नेपाल (नाडा)ले बैठक बोलाएको हो ।

नाडाका अध्यक्ष सुरेन्द्रकुमार उप्रेतीका अनुसार नाडा सचिवालयमा केहिबेरमा बैठक बस्दैछ । सरकारले ल्याएको यो व्यवस्थाबारे छलफल गर्न लागेका छन् । बैठकपछि नाडाले आफ्नो धारणा सार्वजनिक गर्ने तयारी गरेको छ ।

यातायात व्यवस्था विभागले सातै प्रदेशका मन्त्रालयहरू र देशैभरिका स्थानीय तहलाई पत्राचार गर्दै अर्को सूचना नभएसम्मका लागि नयाँ सार्वजनिक सवारी साधनको दर्ता रोक्न निर्देशन जारी गरेको छ ।

सार्वजनिक यातायातको वैज्ञानिक व्यवस्थापन हुन नसक्दा अत्यधिक वायु प्रदूषण बढेको, सडकमा सवारीको चाप र ट्राफिक जामले आवतजावतमा कठिनाइ थपेकोले यस्तो निर्णय लिइएको विभागले जनाएको छ ।

Kathmandu. Auto dealers have called an emergency meeting after the government halted the registration process of new vehicles. The meeting was called by the Automobiles Association of Nepal (NADA), the umbrella organization of auto dealers.

According to NADA Chairman Surendra Kumar Upreti, a meeting will be held at the NADA Secretariat shortly. They are going to discuss this arrangement brought by the government. NADA is preparing to make its opinion public after the meeting.

The Department of Transport Management has issued a letter to ministries in all seven provinces and local levels across the country, directing them to suspend the registration of new public vehicles until further notice.

The department stated that this decision was taken because the lack of scientific management of public transport has led to excessive air pollution, and the pressure of vehicles on the roads and traffic jams have added to the difficulty of movement.
