Rastriya Prajatantra Party MP Criticizes Indian SSB Incursion into Nepali Land

Kathmandu. The opposition party Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has objected to the unauthorized entry and intervention by the Indian Border Security Force (SSB) in Susta, West Nawalparasi. RPP MP Bharat Raj Giri drew the attention of the Parliament meeting to the incident where armed Indian SSB personnel entered Nepali land without permission in Tharu Tole, Susta Rural Municipality-5.

"There was no state presence there, our security personnel were not present, only our simple farmers who were plowing the land," Giri said, "who with their indomitable courage chased away the armed soldiers and proved that to protect the soil, it is not the uniform but the patriotism in the chest that is needed."
