Nepal to Address UN General Assembly on Climate Justice and Action

The 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly's high-level week is scheduled to take place in New York from September 18 to 28, 2026. Within this framework, a high-level meeting on Climate Action and Just Transition is also scheduled for September 23.

For Nepal, this is not merely a regular diplomatic presence, but also an important platform to forcefully present the story of unprecedented natural disasters seen in the Himalayan region in recent years and the issue of 'climate justice' to the world leaders.
