Prime Minister Balen Shah Reviews Flood Relief Efforts

Kathmandu. Prime Minister Balen Shah has stated that the government is prioritizing the rescue, relief, and rehabilitation of citizens affected by disasters. In a message on social media Facebook on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, Prime Minister Shah pledged that the state stands with every family affected by disasters in difficult times and will reach every citizen awaiting rescue.
According to Prime Minister Shah, 15,431 security personnel from the Nepal Police, Nepali Army, and Armed Police Force Nepal have been deployed in the affected areas for search and rescue. 4,473 personnel from the Nepal Police, 6,755 from the Nepali Army, and 4,203 from the Armed Police Force are deployed in areas such as Rasuwa and the Bhotekoshi-Trishuli corridor.
