MP Khushbu Oli Urges Focus on Life Protection Over Politics During Disasters

Kathmandu. Rastriya Prajatantra Party MP Khushbu Oli has said that politics should not be done during disasters, but attention should be paid to protecting citizens' lives. Speaking in the House of Representatives meeting on Thursday, she said that during times of disaster, priority should be given to protecting and rescuing citizens' lives rather than dividing between the ruling and opposition parties.

She urged the government to expedite rescue and relief distribution following the disaster in Bhote Koshi. Expressing concern that the rescue of those trapped inside the tunnel was not progressing as expected, she drew the government's attention to immediately deploy all available technologies, rescue methods, and skilled manpower.
