Committee formed to assess damages to transport sector

Kathmandu, Sept 11: The Ministry of Infrastructure Development has formed a committee to assess human and physical damages to the sector of public transport following the catastrophic flash floods occurred in the Bhotekoshi and Trishuli river systems on August 26.

According to the Private Secretariat of Infrastructure Development Minister Sunil Lamsal, the committee, coordinated by director general of the Department of Transport Management, Rajeev Pokharel, has been assigned to submit a study report with its recommendation within the next 15 days.
