GANDAKI PROVINCE TRANSPORT COMPANIES DONATE OVER NPR 2.7 MILLION FOR FLOOD VICTIMS

Kaski. Various transport companies operating in Gandaki Province have provided assistance of NPR 27,35,895 for the rescue and relief of citizens affected by the Bhote Koshi flood. The amount was collected from various transport companies and committees affiliated with the Nepal Transport Entrepreneurs National Federation Gandaki Province Committee and deposited in the Prime Minister's Disaster Relief Fund, informed Mahesh Bahadur Thapa, Gandaki Province Coordinator of the Federation. Prithvi Highway Bus Operators Company Pvt. Ltd., affiliated with the Federation's provincial committee, contributed NPR 10,11,111, Pokhara Yatayat Pvt. Ltd. contributed NPR 4,00,000, and Pokheli Taxi Service Pvt. Ltd. contributed NPR 3,00,000 for the flood victims. Similarly, Dhawalagiri Kalika Yatayat Pvt. Ltd. contributed NPR 2,05,555, Local Transport Company contributed NPR 1,51,111, Begnas Tal Pokhara Yatayat Pvt. Ltd. contributed NPR 1,01,111, Gorkha Daraundi Yatayat contributed NPR 1,01,111, Syangja Gandaki Yatayat contributed NPR 1,01,111, and Dhawalagiri Gandaki Yatayat Pvt. Ltd. contributed NPR 1,00,000. Likewise, Avon Greater Nepal Yatayat Pvt. Ltd. contributed NPR 55,555, Siddhababa Yatayat Service Pvt. Ltd. contributed NPR 51,111, Mustang Muktinath Yatayat Pvt. Ltd. contributed NPR 51,000, Dhawalagiri Anchal Yatayat Service Pvt. Ltd. contributed NPR 50,000, Tanahu Vyasbhumi Yatayat Pvt. Ltd. contributed NPR 36,666, and Lamjung Kalika Yatayat Operators Pvt. Ltd., Gandaki Mamphaula Mini Truck Operators Committee, and Gandaki Tractor and Mini Truck Yatayat Pvt. Ltd. contributed NPR 25,555 each, informed Arjun Poudel, Secretary of the Federation. Similarly, Pokhara Fewa Yatayat Pvt. Ltd. contributed NPR 25,000 and Baglung Ghumte Yatayat Pvt. Ltd. contributed NPR 20,000 to the fund. Gandaki Province Federation stated that Annapurna Ghorepani Ghandruk Yatayat Pvt. Ltd. of Kaski, which operates in Gandaki Province, had previously deposited NPR 1,11,111 and Syangja Parbat Yatayat Pvt. Ltd. had deposited NPR 21,000. Secretary Poudel stated that the support provided by transport entrepreneurs in fulfilling their social responsibility during the disaster for the relief and rescue of flood-affected citizens is expected to reach the affected citizens. The committee expressed gratitude to all the transport entrepreneurs and organizations that provided support.
