Ncell's Recharge Validity Policy Sparks Consumer Concerns as Multiple Rs 50 Recharges Don't Add SIM Validity

Kathmandu. Questions have once again surfaced over consumer rights and service transparency in Nepal's telecommunications sector after it was found that Ncell's prepaid recharge validity policy does not extend SIM validity when customers make multiple low-value recharges, despite accepting the full payment.

Under Ncell's current policy, every Rs 50 prepaid recharge provides 30 days of SIM validity. However, making multiple Rs 50 recharges does not stack the validity period. Regardless of how many times a customer recharges Rs 50, the SIM validity remains capped at 30 days from the latest recharge date.
