South Korea Issues First 'Severe Heatwave Alert' for Seoul Under New System

Kathmandu. South Korea's weather forecasting agency has issued a 'severe heatwave alert' for Seoul for the first time under a new system on Monday.

This is the first such warning issued to alert the public about extreme temperatures since Seoul began classifying seasonal conditions this year.
