MP Kandel Stresses Security and Profit for Investment in Remote Areas

Kathmandu. CPN (UML) MP Prof. Dr. Pushparaj Kandel has stated that capital security and profit assurance are necessary to attract commercial investment in remote areas.

Speaking at a meeting of the Finance Committee held at Singha Durbar on Thursday, MP Kandel said that private sector investment has not been as expected in remote areas because the private sector prioritizes market, capital security, and return on investment before investing.
