59-Year-Old Man Arrested Nearly 2 Months After Allegedly Beating 14-Year-Old Girl During ‘Cleansing Ritual’ in Jajarkot

Kathmandu. Police have arrested a 59-year-old man for allegedly severely beating a 14-year-old girl under the pretext of performing a cleansing ritual in Jajarkot.

The arrested man has been identified as Hiralal Chalaune of Barekot Rural Municipality-6, Jajarkot. A team deployed from the Jajarkot District Police Office arrested him on Thursday.
