The US President Donald Trump has reiterated his claim that the US has established 'full control' over the Strait of Hormuz. However, the movement of commercial ships through Hormuz has reached its lowest point in a week. Meanwhile, Tehran, maintaining its stance, has stated that Hormuz will remain closed until its demands from the US are met. Iran has put forward demands for guarantees of its security before the end of the war with the US, lifting of economic sanctions, and an end to the US naval blockade.
