Nepali Congress Leader Shashank Koirala Declares Sher Bahadur Deuba as True Leader and President

KATHMANDU. Nepali Congress leader and coordinator of the National Gathering Organizing Committee, Dr. Shashank Koirala, has stated that Sher Bahadur Deuba is the true leader and president of the party. Addressing the National Gathering that began in Kathmandu today in his capacity as president, Dr. Koirala claimed that the Nepali Congress would move forward united under Deuba's presence and leadership.

Recalling the emotional relationship between public leader BP Koirala and Sher Bahadur Deuba, leader Koirala narrated an interesting historical anecdote. He said, ‘BP Koirala used to call Sher Bahadur Deuba the ‘Prince of the West’.’
