KTM Public Transport Mobile App Launched in Kathmandu Valley

Kathmandu. The 'KTM Public Transport' mobile app has been launched with the objective of providing real-time information on where public transport plying in the Kathmandu Valley has reached and how long it will take to reach your location.

The application was launched by the acting mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City and chairperson of the 'Federal Capital Urban Area Public Transport Council', Sunita Dangol, on the occasion of the third meeting of the council. Through this app, information can be obtained about approximately 1,200 public vehicles currently equipped with GPS. The Federal Capital Urban Area Public Transport Authority has a plan to gradually install this technology in other vehicles in the coming days.
