Flood Risk High in Rasuwa, Nuwakot; Moderate in Over 3 Dozen Districts

Kathmandu. Flood Forecasting Division has indicated a 'high possibility' of sudden floods in the Bhote Koshi, Trishuli, and small rivers flowing through Rasuwa and Nuwakot districts. According to the flood forecast bulletin published by the division this morning, a high risk of floods has been observed in these two districts.

Similarly, a moderate risk of floods in small rivers in more than three dozen other districts of the country has been made public. After the flood in the Bhote Koshi of Rasuwa on August 26, the flow of the Bhote Koshi and Trishuli rivers is currently below the warning level.
