IAEA Chief: Access to Iran's Nuclear Facilities Would Have 'Positive Impact'

Kathmandu. If access is given to the IAEA in Iran's major nuclear facilities, it will have a 'positive impact' for Iran, International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) chief Rafael Grossi said on Monday. A draft resolution obtained by AFP proposes sending Tehran to the United Nations Security Council to discuss this matter.
The IAEA has not had access to Iran's major nuclear facilities since Israel, with the support of the United States, began a 12-day conflict in June 2025. Nuclear facilities were also attacked in the latest conflict that began on February 28, and the IAEA has repeatedly demanded access.
