Bagmati Chief Minister Advises Against Resettlement Near BhoteKoshi and Trishuli Rivers

Bhaktapur. Bagmati Province Chief Minister Kiran Thapa has stated that resettlement should not be done on the right (left) banks of the BhoteKoshi and Trishuli rivers during post-flood rehabilitation in Rasuwa.

Speaking at an interaction program organized by the Nepal Press Society in Suryabinayak, Bhaktapur on Saturday, Chief Minister Thapa expressed the view that these riverbank areas are still risky and rehabilitation work should be carried out with long-term thinking.
