Flood Damages Banks in Rasuwa, Nepal

Kathmandu. Twelve banks' 17 branches have been affected due to the flood that occurred in BhoteKoshi of Rasuwa on September 10. According to the rapid damage and needs assessment (rDNA) report prepared by the National Planning Commission and the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority, a loss of Rs 72.4 crore has occurred.

Of this, the largest loss has occurred in Agriculture Development Bank. One branch of the bank has incurred a loss of Rs 65 crore. According to the authority, a loss of Rs 1 crore 56 lakh has occurred due to the impact on one branch of Citizens Bank.
