359 Bodies Recovered, 910 Missing After Bhote Koshi River Flood

Kathmandu. A total of 359 bodies have been recovered so far due to the devastating flood in the Bhote Koshi River in Rasuwa. The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority under the Ministry of Home Affairs, in an updated report released at 6:20 PM on Thursday, stated that 910 people are still missing in the flood.

According to the authority, the process of finding bodies in various districts is ongoing due to the flood. The highest number of bodies, 132, were found in Chitwan. Similarly, 82 bodies were found in Nawalparasi East, 33 in Dhading, 30 including various human organs in Gorkha, 28 in Nuwakot, 22 in Tanahu, 17 in Rasuwa, and 15 in Nawalparasi West.
