Security Heightened in Golbazar and Lahan After Fatal Shooting

Siraha. Security has been further tightened in Golbazar and Lahan areas after the shooting incident that took place in Golbazar, Siraha on Thursday. The administration has stated that the situation is gradually normalizing with the deployment of the Nepali Army and Nepal Police at various places.

Following the death of a child from a gunshot, the army and police have been deployed from Gagan Khola on the eastern border of Golbazar to Choharwa on the western border to prevent further untoward incidents. Security forces have been stationed on all access roads in the market area and entry has been restricted.
