Flood Risk in 30 Districts Due to Rising River Levels

Kathmandu. The Flood Forecasting Division has issued a flood forecast on Thursday morning stating that there is a moderate risk of floods in small rivers flowing through various 30 districts of the country.

Currently, the condition of major rivers in the country is normal. According to the division, as per the measurement this morning, the flow of Kankai, Kamala, Babai, Eastern Rapti and Western Rapti rivers, including Koshi, Narayani, Bagmati, Karnali, Mahakali and their tributaries, is below the alert level.
