Trump Signs Executive Orders Limiting Birthright Citizenship

Washington D.C. US President Donald Trump has signed two new executive orders aimed at limiting birthright citizenship. The US Supreme Court had rejected his previous attempt just a few weeks ago.

The first of the two orders signed by Trump on Thursday further expands the scope of which non-US citizens' children cannot become US citizens by birth. The second order bans the practice of 'birth tourism,' where pregnant women come to the US solely to give birth.
