Flood Forecast Warns of Moderate Risk in Small Rivers Across Several Districts

Kathmandu. The Flood Forecasting Division has issued a flood forecasting bulletin on Saturday morning stating that although the flow in the major and medium rivers of the country remains below the alert level, there is a moderate risk of flash floods in the small rivers of various districts.

According to the measurement this morning, the water level in Koshi, Narayani, Bagmati, Karnali, and Mahakali and their tributaries is normal. The division has also stated that the flow in the Kankai, Kamala, Babai, Eastern Rapti, and Western Rapti rivers is below the alert level.
