Prachanda Praises Rabi Lamichhane, Criticizes Balen Shah Government

Kathmandu. Former Prime Minister and CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has been praising National Independent Party (NSP) Chairman Rabi Lamichhane. On Monday, during a discussion with parliamentary affairs journalists in Singha Durbar, Prachanda did not hold back in praising Rabi.

Prachanda had stated that he regularly communicates with NSP leaders, except for senior leader and Prime Minister Balen Shah. He claimed to understand the nature of his cabinet members well, including Chairman Rabi, Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal, Energy Minister Biraj Bhakta Shrestha, and Education Minister Shishir Khanal. Prachanda had commented that while Rabi has shown political maturity recently, Prime Minister Balen lacks it.
