Six Killed in Houthi Attack on Egyptian Ship in Bab al-Mandeb Strait

Sana. At least 6 people have died in an attack by the Houthi rebel group on the Egyptian-owned cargo ship Tihamah in the Bab al-Mandeb Strait area. Al Jazeera has reported this, citing the internationally recognized government of Yemen. It is reported that 10 people were injured in the incident.

According to the Yemeni Ministry of Transport, the Houthis fired three ballistic missiles at the ship. After the missile strike, the ship caught fire and suffered significant damage. Three of the deceased were Pakistani citizens and one was Indonesian.
