Minister Poudel Commits to Accident-Free Environment, Addresses Aviation Bill Concerns

Kathmandu. Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Khadakraj Poudel has stated that the government is committed to creating an environment where accidents do not happen. He said this while responding to questions raised by MPs during the theoretical discussion on the 'Domestic Air Service Liability Bill, 2083'.
Addressing the queries raised during the discussion on the bill in the National Assembly meeting, Minister Poudel mentioned that the government is serious about air safety and passenger rights. For this, he informed that a bill has been prepared to divide the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (Caan) into two autonomous bodies: a regulatory body and a service provider body.
