National Assembly Approves Bill on Domestic Air Service Liabilities

Kathmandu. The National Assembly today approved the proposal to 'Consider the Bill Relating to Domestic Air Service Liabilities, 2083'. The proposal, presented by the Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Khadakraj Poudel, was unanimously approved.

Presenting the proposal, Minister Poudel stated that the bill provides for no liability to be created in case of flight delays due to natural or other technical reasons. He informed that work is underway to lift the restriction on Nepali aircraft being placed on the flight safety list in Europe's skies, and results of this work will be visible within the next six months.
