Koshi Province Government Expansion Finalized Amidst Resignations

Biratnagar. Preparations for the expansion of the Koshi Province government are in the final stages according to a 3-point agreement between the CPN (UML) and the Communist Party of Nepal (CPN). While the agreement between the two parties is being prepared for government expansion, ministers from the Nepali Congress have already resigned from the Koshi Province government.

The provincial government will be expanded once the CPN finalizes the list of ministers, according to sources in the Chief Minister's office. "The Chief Minister will go to Kathmandu on Friday evening," the source said, "The CPN has stated that it will finalize the names of the ministers by holding a party meeting. With all the procedures completed, the cabinet expansion will take place around Monday."
