Sashastra Prahari Deploys Special Training CSSR Teams for Flood-Affected Areas in Rasuwa and Nuwakot

Kathmandu. Sashastra Prahari has deployed a specially trained CSSR team for search and rescue in flood-affected settlements in Rasuwa and Nuwakot. Security personnel trained in searching and rescuing from collapsed structures rescue people trapped inside structures by cutting walls and iron.

A CSSR team has been mobilized for the rescue of those trapped in hydropower and those trapped in structures along the riverbanks, informed Spokesperson (DIG) Netra Bahadur Karki of Sashastra Prahari. A team that left Kathmandu last night has started search operations in the settlements along the riverbanks of Nuwakot.
