Coordinate chopper use to avoid risks, NDRRMA tells CDOs

By A Staff Reporter , Kathmandu, Aug. 27 : Following the flash flood in the Bhotekoshi River in Rasuwa on Wednesday and the destruction , the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority (NDRRMA) has written to the district administration offices of Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Gorkha, Dhading and Chitwan, directing that private helicopters being used for ongoing search and rescue operations in the affected areas be operated only under government coordination.
