Radhastami Vrata

Radhaji was born in Varsana near Vrindavan on the Ashtami date of Bhadra Shulk Paksha and this day is popularly known as Radha Ashtami or Radha Jayanti. It is believed that Radhaji was born with Lord Krishna to give meaning to love in the world. A person who falls in love becomes a vivid example of Radhakrishna.

And according to tradition, if the Ashtami date falls on a Friday, the custom of celebrating Radha Ashtami has been established by connecting the sacredness of that Ashtami with the birth of Radha.

'ॐ केशवाय नम: ॐ नाराणाय नम: ॐ माधवाय नम: ॐ ह्रषीकेशाय नम:'
When we take the name of Shri Krishna, then the name of Radhaji also comes together. Because all the devotees say Radhakrishna, although there are two names, they are meant for each other. No one can separate it.

This fast is known by the name of Radha Ashtami, it is said that fasting on this day will never lead to lack of wealth in human life, love will increase in the family, and finally a happy life will be found in Goloka.

Meaningful wishes on this day
